This conference was really something extraordinary. It’s been eight months, and I’m still inspired by the words I was able to capture from those two days. Back when I wrote my first post about Designation (read it here if you haven’t yet), I promised I would digitize my notes from the event. Then school happened, and I didn’t get around to putting this together, until now.

LEARN TO CODE: My Favorite Coding Resources
There are so many resources out there for learning web development and programming, that starting out as a beginner and deciding what tools to use in order to teach yourself how to code can seem very intimidating at first. That’s a feeling I was all too familiar with when I first tried to teach myself how to code. There were plenty of false starts and hiccups along the way that made me think maybe I wasn’t good enough. If you’re feeling that way and having those thoughts, don’t let that discourage you. It’s completely possible with some diligence and organization.
DESIGNATION CONFERENCE | DAY 1
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending Designation, “an all-expenses-paid exploration of the versatility of a career in design, how design is applied differently across industries, and what it looks like to be a design leader facing the business and social challenges of our world.”
