Setting intentions for 2020

I am not a fan of New Year’s resolutions. Never have been, never will. We all know how they tend to go out the window come mid March. Not to mention the amount of pressure it puts on us to outperform whatever model we have created in our minds for what we should accomplish in one year.

I believe that if there are things you want to accomplish or experience in life, there are more effective ways to make them happen than making a list of resolutions at the beginning of a new year, that will end up feeling overwhelming as that year comes to a close.

JOURNAL: Reflections on 2018

2018 was a year of deep inner growth. Creating a vision for what I want my career and life to look like was an integral part of my year as well. I did this by hitting pause on the mental chatter and getting still. Through that, the foundation was set for everything that is to come. So, if you’re going to put in so much work over the span of many months or even years, wouldn’t you want it to go towards exactly what you want out of life, instead of achieving other people’s dreams in vain.Read More »

JOURNAL: On Our Divine Purpose

Daytime full moon

There’s an abundance of opportunities at our disposal that will
guide us on the path to achieving every single thing we are meant
to do on this Earth. Our path has already been carved for us, it’s all
unfolding in front of us. Our thoughts, our ideas, our visions, and our
interests, which all seem so random and spontaneous are, in fact, downloads
from the universe leading us to where we are supposed to go. It’s information
about ourselves being given to us at the precise moments in time when we
are most primed and ready to be receptive of these concepts the most.

If we can think it and envision it, it means we were created to take
on this idea and make it a reality. It has always been our destiny.

Success is inevitable.

Hello World: My Little Zen Corner

Well it seems I have finally taken the plunge. A very few may already know me from Instagram. If so, thank you so much for coming along this new journey.

Otherwise, let me quickly introduce myself. I’m Anto, I am a latina beginner programmer, yogi, and aspiring software engineer. The beach, candles and hugs are a few of my favorite things🌿

I blog on Instagram about:

  • my journey into teaching myself programming
  • studying to complete an Associates Degree
  • applying to a Computer Science Bachelors program next year
  • trying to maintain a yoga practice
  • manifesting and practicing gratitude
  • leading a balanced life highlighted by purpose and drive

I also share a lot of what I’ve been recently learning in my pursuit to reach my optimal performance while avoiding burnout, as well as practical advice on how to optimize your day, discover what your passion IS, and establish achievable goals. and we cannot forget: tons of book recommendations!

I’ve decided to create this blog in order to organize what I’ve already shared and create even more content that inspires you and pushes you to achieve greatness – whatever that may look like to you.

I hope you will join me and take away something that will help you on your own journey.
